The STM Giving Tree
The STM Giving Tree is a long standing tradition here, at St. Thomas More. The tree has gone up in the church; on it you will find ornaments that list gifts for many organizations in our area. Each organization is represented by a different color. Please choose an ornament off the tree, buy the gift listed and return it under the tree (it will tell you whether to wrap the gift or not) NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 16th.
Thank you for helping make someone’s Christmas special!!
Christmas Food Baskets
STM makes Christmas Food Baskets for the Food Pantry Patrons as well as other members of our community. This year, we are looking to have 50 baskets made for Christmas. If you would like to make a basket, please sign up in the entry of the Church. Consider making a basket with all your neighbors, your child’s Faith Formation class, your place of business, or even your extended family. Think of the joy you will bring to those who are not able to provide a Christmas meal to their loved ones. Once you sign up, you will receive an e-mail from Bindy Curtis, or Kathy Brunet, tell you how many people the basket will serve (note: this process is different than that of our Thanksgiving Basket drive). Please wait to hear from one of the ladies before making the basket so that you know how many it will serve. If you have any questions, you can e-mail Bindy Curits: stmfinance@comcast.net or Kathy Brunet:
Kathy.brunet@gmail.com. Thank you for your generosity in helping others!
Advent/Christmas Worship Environment
Envelopes for Advent/Christmas Worship Environment are now located on the window sills in Church. If you wish to remember a loved one during the Christmas season, we ask that you include their name(s) on the envelope. You may place the envelopes in the collection basket, drop it off during office hours (M-Th, 9am-3pm) or mail it to the office in a separate envelope. Memorials will be listed in the bulletin during the Christmas season. Thank you for helping to make our church environment so beautiful!
